Hintlesham & Chattisham
Community Council
The Community Council is a dedicated committee responsible for ensuring that our community spaces are well maintained, welcoming, and enjoyed by everyone.
The Council oversees the running of the Community Hall, which is a registered charity, and ensures it continues to serve as a hub for local events and activities. Several members of the Council also act as Trustees for the charity.
The Council is led by our Chairperson, Robert, and Vice-Chair, Jim. Finances are carefully managed by our Treasurer, Steve. For general enquiries, our Secretary, Lauren, is available to contact.

In addition to managing the hall, the Council organises the maintenance and care of the surrounding woodland, Hintlesham playing field and park, and Chattisham park.
To help share the workload and focus on different areas of community life, the Council is supported by several sub-committees:
-
Woodland Working Party
-
Events Committee
-
Hall Management
-
Social Club
-
Hall Environs
-
Playing Fields and MUGA

Each sub-committee reports to the Community Council and contributes to the smooth running of our shared spaces and activities.

Together, the Council work to maintain and improve our community facilities for the benefit of everyone who lives in and around Hintlesham and Chattisham.
